Futurelife Foundation Trust - Sustainable Solutions to Malnutrition Through Partnerships

Many people around the world suffer from malnourishment despite international relief effort, making them vulnerable to diseases. Futurelife began in 2008 as a social project to improve the lives of malnourished and disadvantaged people in Sub-Saharan Africa, and is now used extensively throughout South Africa to feed malnourished children.

Having witnessed the immense suffering of vulnerable children in the region, Julika Falconer was determined to do something that could help bring health and happiness to their lives. So she joined Futurelife Foundation Trust in 2008 to further the organisation’s mission of alleviating hunger among South African children.

Speaking on the success of the project so far, Julika remaked: “Futurelife feeds an average of 200,000 highly nutritious meals every month and will reach a magic ten million meals donation mark towards December 2017.
